Foreign exchange rates on March 19, 2025: Yuan continues to rise, USD remains unchanged

DNVN - On the morning of March 19, the exchange rate between the Vietnamese Dong (VND) and the US Dollar (USD) at banks remained unchanged, while the Chinese Yuan (CNY) continued to increase.

Foreign exchange prices on March 17, 2025: Will USD continue its downward trend?

At the State Bank, the central exchange rate today was announced at 24,790 VND/USD, down 3 VND compared to March 18. With a margin of +/-5%, the ceiling and floor rates are 26,030 VND/USD and 23,551 VND/USD, respectively. At the State Bank's Transaction Office, the reference exchange rate is 23,604 - 25,982 VND/USD (buy - sell).

At 8:35 this morning, at the commercial banking sector, Vietcombank and BIDV both kept the USD exchange rate unchanged at 25,350 - 25,710 VND/USD (buy - sell) compared to yesterday morning.

For the CNY, Vietcombank listed the exchange rate at 3,477 - 3,589 VND/CNY (buy - sell), up 3 VND in both buying and selling compared to yesterday. In the same trend, BIDV adjusted the CNY buying price up 3 VND and raised the selling price by 2 VND, trading at 3,494 - 3,590 VND/CNY (buy - sell).
