With the theme "Building the future with AI", Tuoi Tre Startup Award 2025 is organized to honor the spirit of innovation and creativity of young people, while opening up new and practical perspectives revolving around the application of AI in the startup journey. Not only opening up a multi-dimensional perspective on the potential of applying AI in startups, the award is also a forum connecting experts, businesses and young entrepreneurs to discuss opportunities, challenges and directions for business development in the digital age.
The Tuoi Tre Startup Award 2025 officially launched and accepted applications from July 22 to September 30, 2025. The preliminary judging panel will evaluate and select 30 outstanding startups and then select the Top 10 to be honored, of which the Top 5 will meet and receive direct advice from experts in the Professional Judging Panel in the final round, scheduled to take place at the end of October in Ho Chi Minh City. The Top 10 promising startups will be honored and awarded at the final Gala event in November 2025. The highest prize worth 100 million VND will be from the advisor of the Tuoi Tre Startup Award program, Mr. Pham Phu Ngoc Trai, founder and Chairman of the Packaging Recycling Alliance (PRO).
At the seminar, the participating speakers also shared diverse perspectives, from "A professional perspective of a technology unicorn" presented by Mr. Le Hong Minh, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of VNG Corporation; to practical applications in specialized fields through the presentation "Application of AI in agriculture" by Ms. Dang Huynh Uc My, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thanh Thanh Cong Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company (TTC AgriS) and "The story of applying AI in startups"... along with the experience of raising capital from Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hiep, CEO of AI Hay, a Vietnamese startup that has just successfully raised 10 million USD. The speakers analyzed and debated the relationship between humans and AI in the startup journey, thereby providing a practical perspective on technology, especially AI, which is reshaping startup thinking and opening up new opportunities for social development.
Tuoi Tre Startup Award is an annual award organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper and the Vietnam Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City, in coordination with the Youth Startup Support Center (BSSC) and accompanying units, implemented since 2019.
