Muong Te Cultural Tourism Week with traditional cultural colors

Muong Te is a border district of Lai Chau province with 10 ethnic groups living together, including very small ethnic groups such as Cong, Mang, La Hu, Ha Nhi... Each ethnic group has its own unique cultural features, contributing to the cultural diversity of Muong Te.

The 2023 Muong Te Culture, Sports and Tourism Week will feature many exciting activities such as art programs to welcome the week, street parades, mass art competitions, tug-of-war, tu lu, volleyball and folk games competitions... In particular, a culinary festival with the spirit of national solidarity with more than 500 trays of food and dishes imbued with national identity will be gathered at the central lake of Muong Te district on the evening of December 10.

Muong Te Culture, Sports and Tourism Week 2023 promises to bring interesting experiences to locals and tourists.

The week also includes a trade fair displaying Lai Chau ginseng products, OCOP products, typical local agricultural products... to promote the heritage, natural landscapes, history, and culture of the ethnic groups in the district to domestic and international friends and tourists.

The 2023 Muong Te District Culture, Sports and Tourism Week is an activity to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Muong Te District. Activities at the cultural week contribute to enhancing exchanges and communication to seek cooperation opportunities, attract investment; build and introduce agricultural products with the cultural identity of the local region, contributing to the development of Muong Te border.
