Ion One's journey originated from the aspiration of young man Pham Tuan Anh, born in 1992 in Vinh Yen ward. Grasping the current state of water pollution and the increasing demand of consumers for clean water products, he hatched the idea of building an alkaline ionized drinking water factory. Mr. Tuan Anh shared: “Starting a business with Ion One comes from two main reasons. The first is the current state of water pollution. The second is the desire to bring a new product that is good for health, while there are not many reputable alkaline ionized water brands on the market.

With that determination, Tuan Anh spent more than 10 years researching and testing. He proactively connected with a reputable manufacturing unit in Hung Yen , brought the product to the province for distribution and surveyed user opinions. The results were positive when many customers responded that their digestive problems were significantly improved after a period of use. Finding the right direction, in mid-2021, he officially established Ion One Vietnam Water Joint Stock Company.
Japanese technology – the key to improving quality
The difference of Ion One is the application of electrolysis technology and modern automatic production lines from Japan - the leading country in research on alkaline ionized water. Alkaline ionized water is alkaline drinking water, created through the process of water electrolysis. With a high pH (usually from 8.5 to 9.5), rich in minerals and strong antioxidants; this type of water is encouraged by many experts and the Japanese Ministry of Health for its outstanding health benefits.

Ion One branded drinking water products in 19-liter bottles have been granted a certificate of qualified facility by the Department of Food Safety and Hygiene.
According to Director Pham Tuan Anh, alkaline ionized water helps balance the body's pH, neutralizes excess acid, thereby helping to improve digestive problems, diabetes, gout and slow down the aging process. These benefits have helped Ion One quickly build trust from customers.

On the journey of starting a business, Ion One also faced many difficulties. “The biggest challenge at first was capital,” said Mr. Tuan Anh. Fortunately, the company received support from the Department of Industry and Trade’s industrial promotion program to invest in machinery, helping to solve the financial problem.

In addition, product communication and promotion are also barriers for a young business. To overcome this, Tuan Anh has actively participated in startup competitions. The first contest "Searching for innovative startup talents in Vinh Phuc province (old) in 2022" has helped Ion One bring its products closer to more people and agencies. The company also built online channels such as Facebook, Zalo, YouTube; at the same time, it expanded its dealer system in communes and wards in Phu Tho province and neighboring provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang.
Remarkable achievements and development vision
After more than 5 years of continuous efforts, Ion One has achieved remarkable achievements. From the initial output of 10,000 cylinders and 7,200 boxes/year with a revenue of 1.5 billion VND, the output has now increased to 20,000 cylinders and 50,000 boxes/year, with a revenue of more than 5 billion VND. Currently, the company has 20 agents in the province and 16 distributors outside the province, creating stable jobs for 10 local workers with an average salary of 8-10 million VND/person/month.

Mr. Pham Tuan Anh personally received many certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee and the Young Entrepreneurs Association, becoming a typical startup example for the young generation.
When asked about advice for young people, Mr. Tuan Anh emphasized: “The first and most important thing is to do real work, real products and real people. Be confident in yourself and learn and take advantage of support sources from functional agencies, because the State has many support policies that many people do not know about.”
