The Meteorological Center warned that in the evening and night of August 29, Hanoi and many areas across the country will have heavy thunderstorms, with the risk of tornadoes, lightning, and gusts of wind.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, satellite images and weather radar in the past 3 hours recorded convective clouds developing in the Bac Ninh area and moving towards Hanoi's inner city.

In the next 30 minutes to 3 hours, many wards such as Phuc Loi, Long Bien, Hong Ha, Linh Nam, Vinh Hung, Vinh Tuy, Hai Ba Trung, Hoan Kiem, Ba Dinh, Cua Nam, Kim Lien... may experience showers and thunderstorms. The scope of thunderstorms may expand to other communes and wards. During thunderstorms, people need to be alert to the risk of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
