Awarded 250 million VND to support the construction of gratitude houses in Van Du, Giai Lac and Quynh Phu communes.

On August 28 and 29, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province coordinated with the communes of Van Du, Giai Lac and Quynh Phu and sponsors to donate 250 million VND to build gratitude houses for families of martyrs.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Ho Duc Thanh - Chairman of the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province; representatives of local leaders and sponsoring units.

In Quynh Phu commune, the delegation presented 100 million VND to the families of martyrs (50 million VND per family), including: Mr. Kieu Quang Tuan's family - a relative worshiping martyr Kieu Quang Khai in hamlet 4 and Mr. Nguyen Duc Thang's family - son of martyr Tran Van Thai in hamlet 13, Quynh Phu commune.

In Van Du commune, the delegation also supported the construction of two gratitude houses, one worth 50 million VND, for Mr. Le Cong Dung - a relative of martyr Le Cong Ho, martyr Le Cong Huoc, martyr Le Cong Thich and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh - a relative of martyr Phan Dang Lu, in Van Du commune.

On this occasion, the delegation also presented 50 million VND to Mr. Nguyen Van Son, to worship martyr Nguyen Van Than, hamlet 3, Giai Lac commune.

Up to now, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs in Nghe An province has called for the construction of 608 gratitude houses. This is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", caring for families of martyrs and people with revolutionary contributions, helping families have solid houses, reducing difficulties, stabilizing their lives as well as contributing to the locality's implementation of hunger eradication, poverty reduction, and new rural construction./.
