Currently, the number of people who know how to play traditional Cham musical instruments is very small.

Mr. Doan Van Thuan - Director of the Provincial Museum, said: The traditional musical instrument of the Cham people is a subject that is very difficult to convey, requiring participants to have musical talent and passion for this type. This is the first class in the Project "Preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development" under the National Target Program on socio -economic development of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas in the period 2021-2030, opened in Ham Tri. Therefore, after the class, it is hoped that all students will master the skills, have concert pieces and continue to practice proficiently, contributing to the restoration, preservation and promotion of fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities to avoid the risk of fading away. At the same time, preserve and promote good identities, improve the level of cultural enjoyment associated with community tourism development.
