In this admission period, Cau Giay Secondary School maintains the same 440 enrollment targets as in 2024, but the admission method has changed. Candidates must take a competency assessment test consisting of 3 subjects: math, Vietnamese and English.

The test is in a multiple-choice and essay format, with content mainly covering the 5th grade curriculum of the 2018 GeneralEducation Program.
