The minimum admission score of Foreign Trade University in 2025 is as follows:
The target group is specialized and non-specialized candidates who won provincial/municipal prizes and candidates using the results of 3 subjects of the 2025 high school graduation exam according to the school's regulations:

Candidates who meet the above quality assurance threshold score conditions need to register their admission wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training 's Admissions Portal from July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28 to be considered for admission according to the Ministry's regulations.

Candidates who meet the above quality assurance threshold score conditions register their information and admission wishes in 2 steps as follows:
- Step 1: From July 22 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28 on the Foreign Trade University Admissions Portal at website https://tuyensinh.ftu.edu.vn;
- Step 2: From July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28 on the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal.
Candidates must simultaneously complete both steps as required by the school to be eligible for admission according to the Ministry's regulations.
Combinations with English subject lower than A00 admission combination are 1 point
Based on the actual score distribution of the 2025 high school graduation exam results of candidates, Foreign Trade University adjusts the score difference between the subject groups for admission for Admission Method 2 - the group of candidates for admission using the 2025 high school graduation exam results of three subjects as follows:
- The admission subject combination A01, D01, D02, D03, D04, D06, D07 is 1 point lower than the admission subject combination A00 on a 30-point scale;
- For programs in the fields of Languages and Computer Science and Data in Economics and Business (admission on a 40-point scale): There is no difference in scores between the subject combinations for admission.
The school said that the difference in scores between the above admission combinations applies to training programs at all 3 campuses: Hanoi Headquarters, Campus 2 - Ho Chi Minh City and Quang Ninh Campus.
Foreign Trade University plans to announce the conversion table of equivalent scores between admission methods/admission groups before 5:00 p.m. on July 23.
In 2025, Foreign Trade University will recruit a total of 4,180 full-time university students for both its Hanoi headquarters and affiliated facilities with 4 methods including:
- Admission is based on high school academic results when meeting the school's quality assurance conditions;
- Admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2025;
- Admission using domestic and international competency assessment certificates;
- Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
