The delegation visited and presented gifts to the families of war invalids including: Le Quang Khai, 21% war invalid; Nguyen Phuc Thach, a victim of toxic chemicals, both residing in group 10; Hoang Van Sa, 84% war invalid; Hoang Van Tung, 81% war invalid, both residing in group 8.
At the families, Secretary of the Ward Party Committee Trinh Sy Tai grasped the thoughts and aspirations and encouraged the wounded soldiers and martyrs' relatives to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, being a shining example for the younger generation to learn and follow. At the same time, he expressed deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the previous generations for the cause of national liberation and protection of the Fatherland.
On this occasion, Tan Giang ward organized 10 delegations to visit and present gifts to 40 war invalids, sick soldiers, and policy families, expressing the deep gratitude of the ward Party Committee and government to those who sacrificed and contributed to the independence and freedom of the nation.
On July 22, the Youth Union and Women's Union of the Economic Police Department, Provincial Police visited and presented gifts to war invalids and martyrs' families in Tan Giang ward and Quang Trung commune.
The delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Hoang Trung Tue, Tan Giang ward, a relative of a People's Public Security martyr, in difficult circumstances, raising 2 children alone; families of war invalids: Dam Minh Chau, Chu Xuan Ban, Truong Cong Thoa, Quang Trung commune, La Xuan Than, Quang Trung commune.
At the places visited, the delegation inquired about the health and lives of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and martyrs' families; encouraged wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and martyrs' families to strive to overcome difficulties and build prosperous and happy families.
