On June 14, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law announced its 2025 university admission plan with 5 methods.

Candidates who win the national consolation prize are eligible for priority admission. The condition is that the subject in which the prize is won must be included in the subject group registered for admission; the total score of the 3 subjects in the 2025 high school graduation exam in the subject group registered for admission must be 22.5 points or higher (including priority points), in which the score of the subject in which the candidate won the consolation prize must be 7 points or higher in the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Method 2: Admission based on combining high school academic results with international language certificates or US SAT exam results

These certificates or SAT exam results must be valid until June 30, 2025 and meet all criteria and conditions such as: Graduated from high school; the average score of 6 semesters of high school (including grades 10, 11 and 12) of 3 subjects in the group of subjects for admission must be from 22.5 or higher, in which the study results of grade 12 must have a score of no less than 25%.

The main subject in the subject group used for admission must have a weighted score of not less than 25%. For the Law and International Commercial Law majors, the main subject in the subject group used for admission must satisfy both conditions: Have a weighted score of not less than 25% and achieve at least 60% of the maximum assessment score of the scale.

Method 3: Admission based on high school academic results for candidates studying at schools in the "List of high schools with priority for admission in 2025 of Ho Chi Minh City National University".

Candidates must have good academic results in grades 10, 11 and 12 (or excellent for candidates graduating from 2024 and before); must have a total average score of 6 semesters of high school (grades 10, 11 and 12) of 3 subjects in the admission group of majors of 24.5 or higher, in which the academic results of grade 12 must have a weighted score of not less than 25%.
