Accordingly, the programs with a benchmark score of more than 28 points include: Advanced program in Foreign Economics (28.5 points); i-Hons advanced program in International Business and Business Data Analysis; Standard program in International Business (both 28 points).
Next, there are 6 programs that achieved more than 27 points, including: Career orientation program Logistics and Supply Chain Management; standard program Foreign Economics; high-quality program Foreign Economics; high-quality program International Business; Digital Marketing program; advanced program Finance-Banking.
The Computer Science major has an admission score of 36.4 points with a double coefficient for Math (equivalent to more than 9 points/subject). The remaining programs basically have a standard score ranging from 25 to 27 points.
Along with the announcement of the benchmark scores, the school also provided specific information about the admission method. Foreign Trade University considers admission scores based on two basic combinations, including: Combination of 3 high school exam subjects for standard programs; combination of 2 high school exam subjects combined with converted IELTS scores for advanced, high-quality programs and international career orientation.
The school does not add IELTS points and applies an IELTS score with a lower threshold compared to the conversion of high school exam scores and other universities.
Specifically, candidates with IELTS 6.5 will only be converted to 8.5 points; to achieve the maximum conversion (10 points), candidates must have IELTS 8.0 or higher.
For Language and Computer Science majors, the admission score is calculated on a 40-point scale with a double coefficient for Foreign Language (for Language majors) and a double coefficient for Mathematics (for Computer Science majors).
