Method 1: Direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Method 2: Comprehensive admission based on academic results and achievements during high school.

Admission criteria: Candidates graduating in 2024, with an average score of 6.5 or higher in semester 2 of grade 11 and both semesters of grade 12; Candidates graduating in 2025, with academic results of semester 2 of grade 11 and both semesters of grade 12 of good or higher.

How to calculate admission score:

Admission score is the converted score according to the subject combination of 3 semesters plus the converted score according to other criteria (if any) and the total converted priority score (if any). Priority score for subjects and regions is converted according to a 150-point scale.

Converted score according to subject combination of 3 semesters = Converted score (average score according to combination of semester 2, grade 11) + Converted score (average score according to combination of semester 1, grade 12) + Converted score (average score according to combination of semester 2, grade 12).

Conversion score according to other criteria = Conversion score of international English certificate + Conversion score of excellent student selection exam + Conversion score of specialized/gifted school.

Method 3: Admission based on the results of the 2025 V-SAT computer-based university entrance exam.

Admission criteria: Candidates graduating in 2024, with an average score of 6.5 or higher in semester 2 of grade 11 and both semesters of grade 12; Candidates graduating in 2025, with academic results of semester 2 of grade 11 and both semesters of grade 12 of good or higher.

Candidates can participate in multiple rounds of the V-SAT computer-based entrance exam organized by Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City (each round requires at least 1 subject group to be registered). The results of the exams during the year will only be considered for admission in the year of admission and at the prescribed time for receiving university admission applications using this method. All subjects in the admission combination must be taken at the same organization. Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City only accepts V-SAT exam results from units that have signed an agreement to organize the exam, recognize and share the results of the V-SAT computer-based university entrance exam with HUB.

Method 4: Admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2025 .

The school will announce the threshold score to ensure input quality for each admission major after the 2025 high school graduation exam results are available.

Method 5: High school transcript review and interview applied to international regular university programs (degree granted by partners), for high school graduates or equivalent.

Admission criteria: Candidates graduating in 2024, with an average score of 6.5 or higher in semester 2 of grade 11 and both semesters of grade 12; Candidates graduating in 2025, with academic results of semester 2 of grade 11 and both semesters of grade 12 of good or higher.

For law, economic law, economic law (partial English), the minimum total admission score is 18 points (calculated on a 30-point scale).
