Lac Hong University organizes external assessment according to AUN-QA standards

(DN) - On the morning of August 26, Lac Hong University opened the external assessment period according to AUN-QA standards (standards of the Southeast Asian University Network) for 4 master's training programs including: Construction Engineering, Business Administration, Finance - Banking and Information Technology.

These are the first four master's training programs of Lac Hong University to be externally evaluated according to this standard. This evaluation was conducted from August 26 to 28. The evaluation results will be the basis for the school to continue to improve the program, enhance the capacity of the staff, and better meet the needs of high-quality human resources in the integration period.

To date, the university has had 14 undergraduate training programs meeting AUN-QA standards and 2 training programs meeting ABET standards (USA) - the world's leading prestigious accreditation organization in the field of engineering and technology. Lac Hong University is the first university in Vietnam and Southeast Asia to meet AUN-QA quality standards for educational institutions version 3.0. In 2023, the university completed the second cycle of educational institution quality accreditation according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .

In addition to quality assurance efforts, Lac Hong University also focuses on expanding international cooperation. In March 2025, the university signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Cintana Education and Arizona State University (ASU - USA). This agreement opens up opportunities for students and lecturers to access international standard training programs, participate in academic exchanges, transfer credits and develop skills to meet the requirements of the global labor market.
