Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia works with the 34th Army Corps

(GLO)- On the afternoon of August 10, in Pleiku ward (Gia Lai province), comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission had a working session with the 34th Corps Command.

Also attending the meeting were comrades: Ngo Dong Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Major General Nguyen Ba Luc - Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

On the side of Gia Lai province, there were comrades: Pham Anh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Chau Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches.

Reporting to the working delegation, Lieutenant General Dao Tuan Anh - Commander of the 34th Corps - said: In the past time, the Corps has always strictly maintained combat readiness, handled all situations well, and avoided being passive or surprised.

Along with that, lead and direct the successful organization of Party congresses at all levels in the Corps Party Committee and the 1st Corps Party Congress (term 2025-2030).

At the same time, closely coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to build a strong political and local foundation; actively propagate and mobilize people to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's policies and laws.

Effectively carry out mass mobilization work; participate in and successfully complete the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses. The Corps has participated in building and repairing 207 houses for people in the stationed area.

Faced with the increasingly complex and unpredictable world and regional situation, the Party Committee and Command of the 34th Corps continue to lead, thoroughly grasp and seriously implement resolutions, conclusions, directives and regulations of superiors; Resolution of the 1st Party Congress of the Corps.

In particular, focusing on leadership to build a politically strong Corps, as a basis to improve overall quality, combat strength, and well implement the 3 breakthroughs identified in the Resolution of the Corps Party Congress. Strictly maintain discipline and combat readiness regime, closely coordinate with localities to promptly handle situations occurring in the area.

Speaking at the meeting, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia highly appreciated the determination of the 34th Corps in carrying out its tasks, especially the instructions of General Secretary To Lam after his visit and work with the Corps 2 months ago.

The Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission emphasized: With a large management area, the tasks of the 34th Army Corps will be more difficult and burdensome, especially when the world and regional situation is complicated and unpredictable.

Therefore, the 34th Corps needs to continue to monitor and forecast the national defense and security situation, especially in key areas such as the Central Highlands, Ho Chi Minh City, and the Southeast. In particular, it is necessary to grasp the situation to resolve arising incidents right at the grassroots level; be vigilant against the plots and tricks of hostile forces.

In addition, the 34th Corps continues to unite and promote the heroic tradition of the Tay Nguyen Corps and the Cuu Long Corps, as well as the glorious tradition of its subordinate units; strives to excellently complete assigned tasks; thereby, contributing to building a strong military unit and armed force, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era.
