Awarding the "Brave Youth" Badge to 3 male students who saved a drowning child in Ha Tinh

Previously, at around 5:00 p.m. on August 15, three eighth-grade students from Long Son Secondary School (Thach Ha District, Ha Tinh Province), Nguyen Thanh Cong, Nguyen Anh Duan and Nguyen Trung Manh, bravely saved two children who were drowning at the Do Diem sluice gate (bordering Thach My Commune, Loc Ha District and Thach Son Commune, Thach Ha District).

The brave actions of the three students were commended and rewarded.

After bringing the two drowning children to shore, the group of students performed first aid on the spot promptly and correctly and called for help to take the children to the infirmary, stabilize them, and restore their health.

At the program, representatives of Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union praised the brave actions and drowning rescue skills of Nguyen Trung Manh, Nguyen Thanh Cong, Nguyen Anh Duan. These actions contributed to spreading the spirit of beautiful living among young people, clearly demonstrating the campaign "A beautiful story, a good book, a shining example every week", adding beauty to the flower garden "Thousands of good deeds" of Ha Tinh children.

In response to that brave act, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union decided to award the "Brave Youth" badge of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union to three team members: Nguyen Thanh Cong, Nguyen Trung Manh and Nguyen Anh Dung of the Long Son Secondary School Union.
