Awarding more than 1,900 health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances

On August 1, the provincial Social Insurance (SI) launched the program "Leaving no one behind", giving social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances in the province.

Provincial Health Department presents 1,440 health insurance cards

At the program, sponsors presented 19 social insurance books and 1,932 health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances in the province. With the goal of ensuring social security, since 2020, the provincial Social Insurance has mobilized social resources to join hands and contribute to presenting social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances.

Branches and Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies presented 135 health insurance cards.

After 4 years of implementation (2020 - 2023), the program has spread and received the consensus and support of branches and party committees under the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc, the Cultural - Social Emulation Bloc, the Health Sector Trade Union, the business community and agencies and units inside and outside the sector. Accumulated from 2020 - 2023, the whole province has presented 336 social insurance books, 51,551 health insurance cards with a total value of over 7.64 billion VND to people in difficult circumstances in the province.

Through the program, the community and businesses have joined hands to support people in difficult circumstances to participate in social insurance and health insurance, towards the goal of universal social insurance and health insurance, and effectively implementing social security policies in the province.
