Radar station 54 synthetic loop tactical exercise

From April 11 to 13, Radar Station 54, Radar Regiment 290, Air Defense Division 375, Air Defense - Air Force Service organized the 2024 comprehensive tactical exercise.

With the theme "Radar Station 54 coordinates with units, armed forces and local authorities to fight the enemy to protect the border, sea and airspace in the cause of building and defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam", the exercise is divided into 4 stages.

Phase 1, forces switch to combat readiness; phase 2 organizes combat preparation by building radar station operating procedures, plans to ensure communications...; phase 3, combat practice focuses on reconnaissance, detection, ensuring intelligence for units and supporting our forces to disrupt enemy formations and phase 4 is to restore combat.

Commander of Radar Regiment 290, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Cong Lap said that this is a model exercise for units in the regiment to learn from experience.

At the same time, through the exercise, the capacity of commanders at all levels in training tactical drills, the ability to operate and handle situations during marching, garrisoning, organizing preparation, combat practice, combat recovery and leaving the battlefield is improved; training commanders to be proactive and creative in combat practice, avoiding mechanical stereotypes; training soldiers in the ability to act, fighting spirit, and having good health and endurance.
