Experience: Harvest and prepare specialties from Bo Chinh ginseng with San Diu women

We invite you to experience the process of caring for and harvesting Bo Chinh ginseng and preparing the dish "nutritious H'Mong chicken stewed with ginseng" with members of Thien Phuc Medicinal Herbs Agricultural Cooperative. The Cooperative is a common home for San Diu ethnic women in Minh Lap commune, Thai Nguyen province. They not only work together to build an ecosystem from Bo Chinh ginseng but also, through production and business activities, preserve the traditional cultural identity of their people every day.

Sam Bo Chinh was first known in Quang Binh about 300 years ago, and is considered a precious folk medicine with rich nutritional content and special active ingredients, one of the precious products grown by the ancients to present to the king. Realizing the effects of Sam Bo Chinh, Thien Phuc Medicinal Agricultural Cooperative has planted and built an ecosystem from ginseng in Minh Lap commune, Thai Nguyen province.

Up to now, Bo Chinh ginseng products of the Cooperative have been present in many provinces/cities, introduced at many conferences, agricultural fairs and appeared in the list of typical OCOP products of Thai Nguyen . The Cooperative also creates jobs for female workers, of which more than 70% are San Diu women, aged 25 to 55 with stable income.

Not only stopping at simply creating jobs, the Cooperative also helps San Diu women regain their national cultural pride through each product, through activities to support them in restoring folk songs...
