Automatic fine warning notification
Even when the congestion at vehicle inspection centers was complicated, in early 2023, the Vietnam Register deployed an application to schedule vehicle inspection appointments (TTDK app) so that people could proactively choose a vehicle inspection unit and a suitable inspection time, avoiding having to wait in line in front of the vehicle inspection center, causing waste of time and traffic congestion.
On the TTDK application, right on the application's home screen, vehicle owners and businesses can easily look up vehicle fine warnings with just a few steps.
Up to now, the congestion of vehicle inspection has been basically resolved, people are more leisurely when taking their vehicles for inspection, the vehicle inspection appointment booking application continues to develop the feature of looking up warnings of fines for users. Thereby, helping vehicle owners promptly handle fines before taking their vehicles for inspection, avoiding being refused inspection and having to turn the vehicle around and go home.
To look up a traffic fine warning, the steps are also very simple. First, the vehicle owner opens the TTDK application and accesses it via a mobile device.
Then, go to the home page, select "warning lookup". Fill in the information (license plate, latest registration certificate number) according to the instructions. Then confirm, the system will update information related to the vehicle's fine and display it on the phone screen for the vehicle owner to know.
According to the application's management team, the vehicle fine lookup feature is also integrated into the process of vehicle owners making an appointment for inspection. Thanks to that, users can not only make an appointment but also check the vehicle's violation status right during the appointment process, quickly and easily.
After making an appointment, the application will continue to update the vehicle's violation information through the fine lookup software and automatically send fine warning notifications to the vehicle owner right on the interface. From there, the vehicle owner can easily track the information and promptly handle the fine before taking the vehicle for inspection.

In the future, when implementing the Project, the Department of Registration will continue to build a registration application connecting the Department with people and businesses (illustrative photo).
Expanding search features for people
According to the Project "Application of information technology, digital transformation in management and operation of vehicle inspection work of the Vietnam Register" approved by the Ministry of Transport , the Department is continuing to research, develop and create software and tools to support people and businesses.
For example: looking up data and vehicle inspection information; performing online services (booking inspection appointments, paying prices/fees online...) provided by inspection units.
At the same time, the website of the Vietnam Register will be upgraded, adding specialized pages to serve the search and exploitation of vehicle registration information; and a specialized page to receive and return results of tasks performed by the Vietnam Register that are not included in the list of administrative procedures.
Notably, continue to build a vehicle inspection application running on mobile platforms to connect the Vietnam Vehicle Inspection Department with people and businesses.
