Ho Chi Minh City organizes art program "Independent Starlight" to celebrate A80

(Dan Tri) - The art program "Independent Starlight" connects 3 points including Saigon ward, Binh Duong ward and Vung Tau ward.

Towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Organizing Committee of the Celebration of Major Holidays of Ho Chi Minh City in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City and Ho Chi Minh City Television Station produced a special art program called Independence Starlight.

Independence Star is not only a commemorative art program, but also a tribute to previous generations, an opportunity for people to look back on 80 years of resilience, pride and faith in the future.

In the atmosphere of celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (A80), the program also has topical significance when Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau have officially become regional megacities.

Each locality plays a strategic role. Ho Chi Minh City is the center of finance, services, science - technology and culture. Binh Duong is the nucleus of smart industry, logistics and creative culture. Ba Ria - Vung Tau is the hub of international seaports, energy and marine tourism.

From this merger event, the Independent Starlight art program chose the form of 3 connecting points, creating a symbolic artistic message.

The highlight of the art program is the blend of modern technology and traditional art essence, creating a performance space that is both grand and emotional.

In the opening part, the audience will be treated to a laser light show, mapping combined with traditional music. Following the music night will be performances by many artists such as Trong Tan, Anh Tho, Huong Tram, Duc Phuc, Giang Hong Ngoc, Vo Ha Tram... along with dance troupes, choir groups and circus artists Hien Phuoc - Thanh Hoa, contributing to making the art picture more colorful.

The program will be broadcast live at 7:30 p.m. on September 2 on HTV1 channel, and connected online from 3 locations in Saigon ward, Binh Duong ward, and Vung Tau ward.

This is the first time an art program has been broadcast live simultaneously at 3 locations: Ho Chi Minh City - Binh Duong - Vung Tau. The music night promises to make millions of hearts join in national pride, feel the value of independence - freedom and continue the tradition of our ancestors, together building a strong and civilized country.

The event will close with the Proud Melody choir, combined with a 15-minute fireworks display simultaneously at all 3 locations.
