Pho Yen City: Support for building and repairing houses for 271 poor and near-poor households

That is one of the outstanding results mentioned at the Conference summarizing the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in the period of 2021-2025, organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Pho Yen City on the morning of June 6.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Pho Yen City commended collectives and individuals with achievements in implementing the Campaign for the Whole People to Unite to Build New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas in the 2021-2025 period.

Over the past 5 years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in Pho Yen City have effectively implemented the 5 key contents of the Campaign, creating a widespread influence, contributing significantly to the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas. People have voluntarily donated more than 12 hectares of land of all kinds, cut down many trees, demolished thousands of square meters of fences, contributed to expanding rural roads, and built public welfare works...

Along with that, the City Fatherland Front Committee has mobilized support to build the "For the Poor" Fund with over 15.8 billion VND. From this fund, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the area have supported the construction and repair of 271 houses for poor and near-poor households; presented thousands of gifts to poor and near-poor households, students with difficult circumstances... on holidays and Tet. Communes and wards have built 75 models of "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" with effective operation. Every year, the rate of families achieving the title of Cultural Family reaches 95%; cultural residential areas reach over 90%; 100% of communes and wards meet national criteria on health ; the rate of people participating in health insurance reaches 95%...

In the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in Pho Yen City will continue to arouse the potential and internal strength of the people, promote the role of community self-management, join hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas...

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Pho Yen City awarded 6 collectives and 8 individuals with achievements in implementing the Campaign for the Whole People to Unite to Build New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas in the period 2021-2025.
