Charity tour to Ky Thuong (Ha Long)

On November 23, Vietravel Tourism Company, Quang Ninh branch , organized a charity tour "Warm clothes for children" to Ky Thuong commune, Ha Long city.

This year, Vietravel’s charity tour group has over 50 participants. They come from localities in the province and some cities outside the province such as Hai Duong and Hanoi. This year, the charity tour group’s destination is Ky Thuong Primary and Secondary School (Khe Tre village, Ky Thuong commune, Ha Long city) where 168 students are studying.

"Warm clothes for children" 2024 comes to Ky Thuong commune, Ha Long city.

Here, the delegation presented 168 warm clothes, 168 school bags; 5 bicycles to support students to have means of transportation to school, 3 water purifiers, curtains, hundreds of kilograms of rice and many meaningful gifts with a total value of 110 million VND.

In addition to giving gifts, with the "Warm Clothes for Children" 2024 journey, visitors can also visit and experience community tourism in Khe Phuong village, Ky Thuong commune such as: Kayaking on the lake, exploring the bamboo forest, cultural exchange with Dao ethnic people at Am Vap Farm tourist area, visiting the Dao cultural exhibition house, enjoying local specialties, taking photos and checking in at Heaven's Gate.

The charity tourism journey “Warm clothes for children” was first implemented by Vietravel in Quang Ninh in 2016 and has become a meaningful annual program. The tourism journey not only contributes to sharing and spreading good things, messages of love and kindness to those in difficult circumstances but also exploits humanistic and educational values for tourism product development.

Every year, the “Warm Clothes for Children” tour attracts more and more tourists. Many tourists choose to register to join the tour in the following years.

Vietravel's volunteer travel journey "Warm clothes for children" over the years has visited schools in Binh Lieu, Ba Che, Hai Ha, Dam Ha districts, Dong Lam and Ky Thuong communes (Ha Long city).
