Russian President Putin welcomes leaders of countries attending the BRICS conference

On the evening of October 23 (local time), in Kazan City, Russian President Vladimir Putin hosted a solemn welcoming ceremony and reception for leaders of countries and international organizations attending the BRICS Conference.
The reception was solemnly held by the BRICS 2024 Chair country at the Kazan Expo Convention Center, Kazan City (Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation). Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and leaders of countries, territories, and international organizations attended the event. The BRICS and BRICS Plus Summits were attended by leaders of 36 countries and territories. Of these, 22 delegations had representatives at the highest level, heads of state level such as the General Secretary and President of China; General Secretary and President of Laos; Presidents of South Africa, Turkey, Venezuela, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Egypt, UAE, etc. The conference was also attended by leaders of 6 international organizations, including the Secretary General of the United Nations.
