Vietnamese Consul General in Busan meets with representatives of Korean commercial enterprises

On the morning of August 26, in Busan city, Vietnamese Consul General in Busan Doan Phuong Lan attended the 2025 Professional Trade Enterprise Welcoming Ceremony organized by Busan city, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Energy and the Korean Chamber of Commerce.

At the event, Consul General Doan Phuong Lan had the opportunity to discuss with many Korean import-export enterprises interested in the Vietnamese market and enterprises operating in Vietnam about the actual business situation.

The enterprises expressed optimism and assessed that the Vietnamese market is developing very strongly, opening up attractive cooperation potentials for Korean import-export enterprises in many fields, and hope to continue expanding their business in Vietnam in the future. The enterprises expressed their joy when learning that the Vietnamese Consulate General was established in Busan.

Consul General Doan Phuong Lan shared about Vietnam's development orientation and discussed with businesses about cooperation methods between the Consulate General and the business community in the Busan area to promptly remove obstacles and support smooth cooperation in the field of trade between businesses of the two countries.

The Professional Trade Enterprise System was established by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency to support small and medium-sized Korean import-export enterprises.

There are currently a total of 678 Korean trading companies designated as professional trading enterprises (selected based on import and export performance).
