Summary and award ceremony of the "Creative Competition for Youth and Children of Hai Phong City in 2024 - 2025"

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of June 24, the City Youth Union - City Young Pioneers Council organized a program to summarize and award the "Creative Youth and Children of Hai Phong City 2024 - 2025" Contest. Attending were Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong and representatives of the Department of Science and Technology, Department of Education and Training, and the City Union of Science and Technology Associations.

The contest “Hai Phong City Youth and Children's Creativity 2024 - 2025” is organized with the aim of awakening potential, promoting creative thinking, and demonstrating the talents of youth and children in the field of science and technology. This is truly a useful playground that helps encourage children to nurture their dreams of becoming inventors in the future.

The contest attracted the participation of 121 products with high scientific content. After more than 8 months of implementing the contest, the Organizing Committee has agreed and decided to award prizes to 37 products in 5 fields, all of which are quality products, new, creative, in line with the 4.0 industrial revolution, basically meeting the city's goals of developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation. These are really products that need continued attention and investment of resources to research and upgrade to become useful tools, promoting effectiveness in life.

Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Hai Phong Youth Union, relevant departments, branches and units in organizing, promoting, implementing, mobilizing candidates to participate in the Contest and coordinating the implementation of the program. At the same time, he welcomed the Board of Directors of schools, teachers and parents of students for creating both spiritual and material conditions for students to promote their creativity and talents in the Contest and congratulated the students who won high prizes and were awarded at the program.

In order for the "Hai Phong City Youth and Children's Creativity" Contest to truly become a vibrant and widespread movement of learning and creative work in science and technology in the coming time, the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested leaders at all levels, sectors and units to pay attention to science and technology activities and technical creativity; consider the Contest as a practical activity contributing to the implementation of the Party and State's policy on science and technology development, quickly approaching the 4.0 industrial revolution; therefore, it is necessary to create close coordination in propagating, launching and organizing the Contest. Youth Union, Pioneer organizations,educational institutions and schools in the city promote the emulation movement of learning and creative work, creating conditions for students to promote their intelligence, actively research and propose many initiatives and creative solutions of high value to serve their study, production and life. Carry out well the propaganda work about the Contest on mass media to promote the movement of learning and creative work, promote the effective application of solutions and initiatives in production, life and study.

The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the city, the Standing body organizing the Contest, to be more active in presiding over and coordinating with the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Education and Training, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of the city and relevant departments, branches, localities and units to effectively organize and implement activities serving the Contest; research and innovate methods of propaganda and direct mobilization to the grassroots, units and individuals with potential to attract more units and authors to participate.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 05 Special prizes, 05 First prizes, 05 Second prizes, 10 Third prizes and 12 Encouragement prizes to the winning authors and author groups./.
