Vietnam women's team won 1-0 against Thailand
The 1-0 win over Thailand helped coach Mai Duc Chung's team lead Group A with 9 absolute points after 3 matches. We scored 14 goals and did not concede any goals after the group stage.
With this impressive achievement, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) awarded the team 500 million VND. At the same time, Hai Phong city also awarded the entire team 500 million VND. In total, coach Mai Duc Chung's team was awarded one billion VND after winning against Thailand last night.

According to the VFF, the Vietnamese women's football team has successfully completed its goal in the group stage. By holding the top position in Group A, the Vietnamese women's team will meet the second team in Group B in the semi-finals.
The second place in Group B will be determined after the final round of matches in this group, taking place tonight (August 13). The semi-finals will take place on August 16.
In the semi-finals, coach Mai Duc Chung’s team continued to play at Lach Tray Stadium (Hai Phong). This is a football field that is highly appreciated by the teams participating in this year’s tournament, for the quality of the grass and especially for the enthusiasm of the home audience.
Last night, more than twenty thousand spectators came to Lach Tray Stadium to cheer for the Vietnamese women's team. This is an admirable number of spectators for women's football.
