Mr. Luong assessed that after the expansion of its boundaries, Lam Dong will have an additional 192 km of coastline, a rich tourism space with many natural and cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO. This is an opportunity to develop unique tourism products, increasing the competitiveness of destinations.
The proposed new vision is to turn Lam Dong into a tourism growth pole of the South Central region at the national level, strongly developing modern tourism trends such as: healing tourism, health care tourism, green tourism, and experiential tourism.

Mr. Luong proposed that the new Lam Dong province needs to reorganize its tourism territory, identify functional areas and core value axes. Specifically, the cultural heritage axis: Cu Jut - Krong No - Da Lat - Phan Thiet; the natural heritage axis Ta Dung - Bidoup Nui Ba - Hon Cau - Phu Quy.
At the same time, the province restructures tourism products towards health care tourism, healing tourism, experiential tourism, and green tourism. The province repositions the value chain of heritage tourism, eco-tourism, agricultural - rural tourism, community tourism, and event tourism associated with the night-time economy.

Regarding branding, the province needs to deepen the existing brands: Lam Dong - Miraculous crystallization from the good land, Dak Nong - Land of melodies, Binh Thuan - Endless experiences. The province must promote the application of technology and innovation in promotion.
Mr. Luong proposed promoting regional connectivity, especially with Ho Chi Minh City and Khanh Hoa, while strongly developing Net Zero tourism, associated with green transformation and climate change adaptation, focusing on the Bidoup - Nui Ba world biosphere reserve.
If implemented synchronously, Lam Dong after the merger can completely break through, affirming its leading role in sustainable tourism development of the whole region.
On the morning of June 10, 2025, in Da Lat City (Lam Dong), a workshop was held to guide the socio-economic development of the new Lam Dong province for the period 2026 - 2030 and the following years. The workshop was jointly organized by the three provinces of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Dak Nong to prepare for the drafting of documents for the new Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.
