Khanh Hoa province will participate in the exhibition of socio-economic achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.

On the afternoon of June 11, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) held a meeting of the Organizing Committee for the exhibition of socio-economic achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung chaired the meeting; also attending were Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong; leaders of a number of central ministries, departments, and branches and Hanoi City. The meeting was connected online to provinces and cities in the country. At the Khanh Hoa province bridge, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions announced the decision to establish the Exhibition Organizing Committee; reported on the implementation and draft plan for the exhibition; the situation of the total funding for the exhibition of ministries, departments, branches and localities. Accordingly, the exhibition is expected to open on August 28 and end on September 5, at the National Exhibition Center (Hanoi). The exhibition will introduce images of socio -economic achievements in 80 years of building, protecting and developing the country. In addition, there will be supporting activities such as: Fairs; food and tourism booths; art performances; bilateral contact activities; conferences, seminars, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister Nguyen Van Hung encouraged innovation and creativity to demonstrate the characteristics and strengths of the socio-economic achievements of localities. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will re-submit the plan for arranging the exhibition space and the funding plan for the organization to the Government after merging provincial administrative units. Minister Nguyen Van Hung also requested that localities send working groups to survey the exhibition locations; promote socialization; and improve the quality of exhibition organization.

Participating in this exhibition, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has developed a draft outline of the exhibition space with the theme "Khanh Hoa - Steady Steps Forward". It is expected that the exhibition space of Khanh Hoa province will have an area of 250m2 . In which, images, documents, artifacts, digital technology applications, models, typical and outstanding products of the province will be displayed with content showing achievements, orientations for socio-economic development; digital transformation; national brands of Khanh Hoa province.
