Provincial Youth Union organizes journey to the source and carries out social security activities

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 26, Tuyen Quang Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Youth Union of the Ministry of Public Security and the Youth Union of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police to organize a journey to the source, carrying out social security activities in Thanh Thuy and Viet Lam communes.

The Youth Union of various units donated a computer room to students of Viet Lam Secondary School worth 50 million VND.

Attending the program were Major General Tran Quang Huyen, Deputy Director of the People's Police Academy; leaders of the People's Police Youth Committee of the Ministry of Public Security ; leaders of the Provincial Youth Union and the Youth Committee of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to chemical victim Nguyen Ngoc Binh, Lung Sinh village, Viet Lam commune.

Within the framework of the program, the delegation offered incense in memory and participated in political activities at the Temple of the Heroes and Martyrs of the Vi Xuyen Front on the 468 high point, Thanh Thuy commune - a red address associated with the heroic feats and sacrifices of soldiers in the fight to protect the northern border of the Fatherland. This is a profound revolutionary tradition education activity, contributing to arousing national pride and patriotism among union members and youth.

Next, the Delegation presented the project “Playground for Children” and started building a house for poor youth in difficult circumstances in Thanh Thuy commune; presented a computer room for students in Viet Lam commune.

Along with that, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of chemical victim Nguyen Ngoc Binh in Lung Sinh village, Viet Lam commune. The total value of the works and gifts presented by the delegation was over 220 million VND.

The activities demonstrate the morality of “When drinking water, remember its source”, the deep gratitude of the young generation for the sacrifices and great contributions of heroic martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution; at the same time, spread the spirit of vanguard and responsibility of the youth in the cause of building a rich, beautiful and civilized homeland.
