Accepting suggestions from party members to build District 6 increasingly clean and strong

On May 17, District 6 Party Committee (HCMC) held a ceremony to present and posthumously present Party badges to elderly Party members on the occasion of the 133rd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023).

Attending were comrades: Le Thanh Liem, Standing Committee member, Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Ma Xuan Viet, Secretary of the District 6 Party Committee.

Speaking at the ceremony, District 6 Party Secretary Ma Xuan Viet sent his best wishes to the 68 comrades who were honored to receive the Party's noble badge and the District Party Executive Committee always highly appreciated and respected the contributions of the comrades. Comrade Ma Xuan Viet believes that the senior Party members with their achievements, working process, practical experience, and revolutionary enthusiasm will continue to contribute their intelligence and efforts to the development of the district in the coming time.

The Secretary of the District Party Committee of District 6 hopes that comrades will continue to be worthy of being loyal and exemplary communists of the Communist Party of Vietnam , always being exemplary in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, maintaining Party discipline and lifestyle; voluntarily and strictly implementing the principles of self-criticism and criticism, consciously building a clean and strong Party, taking the lead in activities at local units; Being a solid support for the Party Committee, government and people of District 6; Being a shining example for the younger generation to follow, constantly striving in work, labor and study, actively contributing to building a clean and strong District Party Committee.

Comrade Ma Xuan Viet also requested that units pay attention to creating conditions for senior party members to participate in performing tasks in the Party cell where they are active and in the locality where they reside; Create conditions for cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, union members, association members and all classes of people in general, and senior party members in particular, to participate in giving opinions on building the Party and the Government; Study and absorb the opinions of senior party members to build localities and units that are increasingly clean and strong.

On this occasion, District 6 Party Committee awarded the 60-year Party membership badge (1 comrade); 55-year Party membership badge (13 comrades, including 2 comrades posthumously); 50-year Party membership badge (12 comrades, including 1 comrade posthumously); 45-year Party membership badge (6 comrades); 40-year Party membership badge (22 comrades, including 1 comrade posthumously) and 30-year Party membership badge (14 comrades).
