The above information was reported by Swiss radio station SR on June 14.

Mats Ljungqvist, the Swedish prosecutor in charge of the investigation, said he had discussed the matter with German prosecutors and the two sides were cooperating.

"I think by the fall at the latest, we can make a decision on the charges. That's the ambition of the investigators now. At that time, we can bring to light who did this," he said.

Previously, Mr. Ljungqvist revealed that the main character in the above sabotage was a government- supported organization.

“I think that hypothesis was reinforced during the investigation,” he added.

In September 2022, several underwater explosions affected two gas pipeline systems, Nord Stream 1 and 2. This is a system that transports gas from Russia to Germany in the Baltic Sea.

The sabotage occurred in the exclusive economic zones of Sweden and Denmark. Both Nordic countries later said that this was a sabotage attack but the mastermind has not been identified.

According to the latest update of the Wall Street Journal , German investigators suspect a group of 6 Ukrainians. However, on the Ukrainian side, President Volodymyr Zelensky has denied Kiev's involvement.
