Collecting tons of trash, cleaning the beach after storms

(Baohatinh.vn) - Thach Khe Commune, Ha Tinh Province is making efforts to collect and treat large amounts of waste that has washed up on Thach Hai beach after storms.

On the morning of September 7, the People's Committee of Thach Khe commune mobilized hundreds of people from associations, unions, armed forces, and people from the villages of Bac Hai, Nam Hai, Thuong Hai, Dai Hai, and Lien Hai to clean up the marine environment of Thach Hai.

Due to the impact of storms No. 5 and No. 6, beaches in Ha Tinh, including Thach Hai beach, had to endure a huge amount of waste washed ashore, causing environmental pollution and greatly affecting the tourist landscape and the lives of coastal people.

Most of the waste washed up on Thach Hai beach after storms is water hyacinth, dry firewood, miscellaneous wood, household waste...

The forces make efforts to collect, classify waste, and transport it to the collection point for processing.

With the large amount of waste drifting to Thach Hai beach, cleaning up will take a long time. However, Thach Khe commune is still making efforts to handle it.

Garbage along Thach Hai beach was collected, contributing to improving environmental pollution, returning the beach to its former clean beauty.
