With the spirit of initiative and responsibility for the community of more than 60 cadres, soldiers, and youth union members, the unit collected more than 1 ton of various types of waste (mainly plastic bags, plastic bottles, household waste,...) and took it to the right place for treatment.
This is a practical activity to clean up the living environment, contributing to preserving a bright, green - clean - beautiful landscape in Phu Quoc.
Lieutenant Colonel Phan Tien Tung, Political Commissar of Squadron 422, emphasized: "The general cleaning activity not only contributes to building a regular barracks and a clean landscape environment, but also spreads the message of protecting the marine environment, raising community awareness in limiting waste, keeping the homeland's sea and islands green, clean and sustainable; at the same time, further strengthening the solidarity between the army and the people in the stationed area".
