Agree on the plan to merge the Tourism Associations of the two provinces of Bac Kan and Thai Nguyen

BBK- On the morning of June 14, in Bac Kan City, the Tourism Associations of Bac Kan and Thai Nguyen provinces held a conference to discuss the merger plan, with the participation of representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Kan and the Standing Committee of the Tourism Associations of the two provinces.

After listening to the report on the Association's operations and assessing the tourism potential, the Standing Committee of the Tourism Association of the two provinces proposed specific plans, discussed and voted unanimously to agree on the merger plan.

Accordingly, the two sides agreed to establish the Thai Nguyen Provincial Tourism Association on the basis of merging and consolidating the Tourism Associations of Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan provinces. The structure of the Executive Committee of the Tourism Association for the 2025-2030 term was agreed upon, consisting of 39 members, including 01 Chairman and 12 Vice Chairmen. The Bac Kan Provincial Tourism Association will meet to nominate and introduce 08 representatives to be elected to the Executive Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Tourism Association for the 2025-2030 term (including 02 members of the Standing Committee).

Thai Nguyen Provincial Tourism Association gives gifts (OCOP products) to Bac Kan Provincial Tourism Association.

The meeting also agreed on the contents related to professional committees, branches, finance, facilities, secretariat and implementation progress in accordance with the draft Project. The time to organize the Congress of Thai Nguyen Provincial Tourism Association for the term 2025 - 2030 on the basis of merging the Tourism Associations of the two provinces is set within 60 days from the date of approval by the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee./.
