If we cannot change the mindset that textbooks are laws, the new general education program will lose its meaning in increasing autonomy for localities, educational institutions and teachers themselves.
The explosion of information technology means that schools are not the only places where students receive knowledge. With such a mindset, textbooks should be considered as basic learning materials in the process of designing teaching activities. Based on the prescribed knowledge standards, teachers should collect more appropriate official documents to convey to students. The dynamism and creativity of teachers is to create excitement for students through the subjects they are responsible for. Another important thing is that teachers must help students express themselves in each lesson. Or more correctly, teachers must understand their students to help them develop their learning abilities, whether they are good or average, weak or poor students. From another perspective, if students have opinions and judgments that are different from the textbooks, they should consider before making comments. More importantly, it is necessary to help students recognize what is authentic information from the data they collect.

From the perspective of a teacher, I think that teaching thinking is more important than textbooks. Overall, the changes in the new general education program have been in the right direction of creativity, inspiring children to enjoy learning and applying the knowledge they have learned to real life. Textbooks are just one of many learning materials serving the development of students' qualities and abilities. Managers must be the leaders in implementing the new education program in their units. When approaching new things, the initial tasks are extremely difficult, but the most important thing is to start from practice to innovate thinking. Managers need to arrange and organize their team and system to promote internal strength in teaching and learning activities. The conventional, stereotyped way of thinking that negatively affects students' creativity must be gradually eliminated. The school's educational plan must be designed with implementation processes that are appropriate to the time and human resources conditions in the specific context of the locality and the actual conditions of the school. Creative education to go further is the motto that the management staff directs, supporting the teaching staff in designing and implementing teaching plans according to the specific characteristics of each subject.
All the achievements we see originate from simple, small things. The old ways and frameworks should be gradually changed flexibly to move towards something new, free, beyond the normal rules but adaptable to modern society.
Changing the mindset of textbooks as a law should be gradually absorbed to breathe life into lectures with supplementary knowledge closer to life, aiming at helping students develop their strengths so that positive learning motivation can spread more deeply and widely.
