The conference took place on September 20, chaired by Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong, with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Planning and Investment, departments, branches and many businesses.
Speaking at the opening of the conference, Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong emphasized the importance of using industry as a driving force for economic growth and job creation, and said that Vinh Phuc has implemented many mechanisms and policies to create favorable conditions for investors.
However, Vinh Phuc still faces many difficulties in developing industrial parks, including legal issues, site clearance, land prices and planning quality. Some investors also expressed concerns that the province has not fully exploited its potential to attract investment commensurate with its geographical advantages and labor resources.
Mr. Kenta Kawanabe, General Director of Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park Co., Ltd., emphasized that the province needs to focus on training and supporting the recruitment of high-quality workers through job fairs or acting as a focal point to connect with universities, colleges, and vocational schools. Continue to have open mechanisms and policies to support investors in terms of land, compensation, and site clearance.
Meanwhile, Mr. Trinh Van Quang, Director of Development of Ba Thien 2 Industrial Park Project, Vina - CPK Joint Stock Company, said that Vinh Phuc is a province with many favorable factors for industrial development. However, the results of attracting investment are not commensurate with the potential and advantages of the province.
In order for Vinh Phuc to continue to be an attractive destination for investors, Mr. Trinh Van Quang said that it is necessary to promptly deploy and complete regional planning, zoning planning, industrial park development planning and concretize the provincial planning approved by the Prime Minister , as a basis for investors to review and develop plans to conduct research and prepare documents to request approval of investment policies for new industrial park projects.
At the same time, properly resolve issues of land valuation, land price framework, land allocation as well as approval of funding for resettlement projects serving industrial park infrastructure projects, creating a favorable corridor for accelerating compensation, restitution, and site clearance. Continue to improve the quality of technical infrastructure outside the industrial park fence, especially electricity, water, worker housing, public transport, etc.
Presenting at the conference, many investors expressed their concerns about the difficulties in developing industrial zones that Vinh Phuc is facing. At the same time, they hoped that the locality would quickly resolve them to improve the investment environment.
At the end of the conference, the Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the province is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for investors. The local government will make efforts to resolve difficulties, and at the same time require investors to strictly comply with legal regulations, protect the environment and implement synchronous, high-quality projects.
With the goal of sustainable development and green growth, Vinh Phuc is building the foundation to become a leading industrial center in the region, attracting many investors and promoting local economic development.
