Director of Thanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Pham Nguyen Hong inspected the installation of lighting systems and security cameras at the Tomb of King Le Tuc Tong in Lam Kinh relic site.

Accordingly, in order to ensure security and safety for relics, artifacts, antiquities and especially national treasures being preserved at relics and museums in the area, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa requested the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to direct specialized departments and People's Committees of communes, wards and towns with relics to urgently deploy comprehensive protection measures.

The document was also sent to units directly managing the heritage such as: Center for Historical Research and Heritage Conservation, Center for Conservation of Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage, Provincial Museum, Hoang Long Antiquities Museum, Tam Tho Pottery Museum and Dong Son Antiquities Museum.

These units are required to review and inventory all national relics, antiques, and treasures of historical, technical, cultural, and artistic value currently being preserved and displayed in order to proactively develop plans to prevent and respond to the risk of encroachment.

Specifically, localities must continue to strictly implement the Law on Cultural Heritage and related documents such as Official Dispatch No. 1669 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Directive No. 19/CT-UBND in 2021 of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, and the latest directives to prevent and handle acts of theft, excavation, and illegal trading of heritage.

In addition, the relic management boards/groups will be assessed for their organizational status, from which they will have plans to add security forces, increase patrols, install security equipment and promote propaganda to raise awareness of heritage protection in the community.

Thanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests localities and units to report implementation results to the department before June 10, 2025 for timely synthesis, monitoring and direction.
