With a psychological advantage, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team won 25-17 in set 3, ultimately defeating Belgium with a score of 3-1, winning third place at the FIVB Challenger Cup 2024. This is the first time the Vietnamese women's volleyball team has won against a team in the world's top 15 and also won a medal for the first time at the FIVB Challenger Cup.
