In the context of the global economy shifting strongly under the impact of digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI), the majority of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam - which account for more than 97% of the total number of enterprises - face difficulties in accessing and implementing technology solutions effectively.
The SME DX 10K program is designed as a practical initiative to support 10,000 SMEs to access and apply AI technology in operations, management and growth. The program is developed by the Center for Innovation Support (CIS) - Department of Innovation, together with pioneering units in digital transformation (CDS) and accompanying partners.

In the program's companion ecosystem, Techvify emerged as a typical model of Vietnamese technology startups, and has now strongly transformed into a strategic partner in the digital transformation journey of businesses.
Accompanying SMEs from practical experience
Speaking at the event “Digital technology breakthrough for small and medium enterprises” on June 21, Mr. Pham The Dung - Deputy Director of the Department of Innovation ( Ministry of Science and Technology ) commented: “In the context of the world economy being deeply restructured under the impact of digital transformation and the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, Vietnam has clearly defined its development orientation based on science, technology and innovation. However, most SMEs are still struggling with the problem: knowing that innovation is necessary, but where and how to start?”

As a technology partner implementing the program, Techvify not only provides solutions, but also brings along the actual development journey of a technology startup growing from a small number, to become a friend who understands SMEs from the core.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hieu - General Director of Techvify shared: "I think the most important strategic thinking for SMEs in the era of national growth and the AI wave is to dare to go ahead - dare to change - and dare to invest.
AI is no longer the exclusive domain of large corporations. On the contrary, SMEs can fully leverage the flexibility, speed of decision-making, and ability to adapt quickly to apply AI to their own operating models.”
Data - the biggest barrier for small businesses when applying AI

According to Mr. Le Bui Phuc - Director of Innovation and AI Application at Techvify, there are three typical challenges that SMEs often encounter when starting to approach AI:
The first is the lack of quality data and a smart enough data infrastructure. AI can only work effectively when it is “fed” with standardized data and a good system. However, many businesses do not have a systematic data system, making it difficult for AI solutions to be effective.
Second is the lack of IT personnel with expertise in AI. Without people who understand and have the capacity to implement, it is difficult for businesses to put AI into practical application.
Third is the investment cost issue. SMEs are small in scale and have limited budgets, so investing in a professional AI system is not an easy decision.
The solution is not in technology, but in asking the right questions.

Adding a professional perspective, Mr. Ho Trong Duc - Technology Director of Techvify - said that SME businesses need to start by clearly defining their goals in the digitalization process: do they want to improve customer experience, or do they want to optimize operations?
If the goal is to improve customer experience, businesses can deploy multi-channel AI customer care agents, chatbots, or user behavior analysis systems to personalize products and services.
If the goal is internal automation, businesses can apply AI to activities such as human resource management, document processing, and operational optimization to save costs and improve efficiency.
However, Mr. Duc also emphasized that no matter what the goal is, the prerequisite is still data: “Data is the blood that needs to flow through the system. Enterprises need to standardize data, clean, classify and label - that is the mandatory initial step before deploying AI.”
Techvify - from solution seeker to business companion
With a team of more than 500 technology engineers and experience in implementing solutions for a series of businesses in Japan, Singapore, Korea, Australia and Vietnam, Techvify is not only providing software solutions, but is also becoming a strategic partner in digital transformation projects integrating AI, data and cloud technology.
