With his professional tennis skills, Christian Didier quickly made a name for himself in the pickleball world thanks to his professional handling. The player born in 2000 has participated in many large and small pickleball tournaments in Malaysia and left a deep impression on fans.
Pickleball player with unique playing style is likened to Superman
At the Panas Cup 2025 Pickleball Tournament, Didier amazed fans with his beautiful aerial shots. Thanks to that, the 25-year-old player immediately became a phenomenon on social media and was dubbed a superhero in the Malaysian pickleball community.
However, in an exhibition match with Quang Duong also at the Panas Cup 2025 Pickleball Tournament, Didier had to submit to the Vietnamese player when he lost with a score of 1-11.
In tennis, Didier is considered the top seed from Malaysia. He was ranked 44th in the world at the ITF World Junior, a tournament system for young tennis players under the age of 18 of the International Tennis Federation.
Didier's achievements include becoming the Asian Tennis Confederation's number one under-14 player in 2014, Malaysia's top under-16 player in 2015, winning the 2016 Sukma Gold Medal and being the youngest finalist at the age of 16 at the 2016 KL Open.
He also has two singles titles, the 2017 ITF International Junior Championships and the 2017 ITF Terengganu International Junior Championships, and nine doubles titles.
Christian Didier also represented Malaysia in three consecutive Davis Cup Group 3 tournaments. In 2018, he reached the second round of the Australian Open junior tennis tournament in singles and doubles.
He claimed his first win on the 2019 ITF World Men's Tour when he teamed up with Singaporean Steve Ng to defeat the Japanese pair in the men's doubles final of the International Tennis Federation M15 Singapore 1.
