After more than 3 years of implementing Project 06, Tay Ninh province has issued more than 3.2 million citizen identification/identification records and nearly 2.9 million electronic identification accounts.
According to statistics, the authorities have collected, updated and managed population information accurately and completely, regularly reviewing data to ensure it is “correct, complete, clean and alive”. The national population database is connected and shared promptly with specialized systems, effectively serving management work as well as providing online public services.
In particular, Tay Ninh has so far issued 3,227,772 citizen identification/ID cards and 2,899,525 electronic identification accounts. At the same time, electronic identification via the VNeID application has been widely deployed, facilitating people in accessing and carrying out administrative procedures.
Many administrative procedures have been reviewed and simplified, ensuring consistency and uniformity, contributing to reducing hassles and saving time and costs for people and businesses.
Up to now, many essential public services have been integrated into the National Public Service Portal, from birth registration, driver's license issuance to temporary residence registration, temporary absence registration, etc. Thereby, the process of handling administrative procedures has become faster and more transparent.
Another highlight is that Tay Ninh has achieved a fairly high rate of implementing cashless fee collection in many areas of social life, from healthcare, education to electricity, water, and telecommunications. This not only contributes to promoting civilized and modern payment habits but also limits negativity and petty corruption in the implementation of public services./.
