Training on capacity development for gender mainstreaming and promoting gender equality

On August 20, the Department of Home Affairs of Cao Bang province organized a training conference on gender mainstreaming capacity development and promoting gender equality by 2025 for 143 trainees.

The trainees participating in the training are principals, vice principals, heads of professional groups and administrative offices of schools in the communes of Phuc Hoa, Be Van Dan, Doc Lap, Quang Uyen, Hanh Phuc, Son Lo, Hung Dao, Bao Lac, Coc Pang, Co Ba, Khanh Xuan, Xuan Truong, Huy Giap.

During the 2 days, delegates were trained on 6 topics, including: Some basic concepts of gender; prominent issues in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; communication on gender equality; gender mainstreaming; gender-responsive budgeting; developing a plan to promote gender equality...

Through the training, the school management team is equipped with more knowledge and skills in integrating gender into educational activities. Raising awareness and responsibility in promoting gender equality in every classroom and every school. Creating a forum to exchange and share good experiences and creative ways of doing things, and at the same time, together solving difficulties and obstacles in practice.
