Vietnam Travel Magazine Announces Celebrity Pickleball Championship

Speaking at the ceremony, journalist Nguyen Viet Loc - Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Travel Magazine commented that recently, Pickleball has begun to develop strongly in our country. Pickleball playgrounds have appeared in many provinces and cities across the country. Aiming at artists and influential people, the Celebrity Pickleball Championship - PILI Cup hopes to not only create a sports playground for artists and celebrities, but also bring opportunities to connect and spread the spirit of healthy sports in the community.

“When we started planning this tournament, we wanted to create an event that was not only entertaining, but also contributed to promoting the development of Pickleball in Vietnam. We hope the tournament will inspire many people, from artists to the public, to experience and spread the love of sports together,” said journalist Nguyen Viet Loc.

The 2024 Celebrity Pickleball Championship – PILI Cup Southern Region attracts more than 40 athletes who are singers, actors, beauty queens, KOLS (influencers)... living and working in Vietnam. The athletes compete in men's and women's singles; men's and women's doubles; mixed doubles.

The tournament is scheduled to take place on September 7, 2024 at Lan Anh Pickleball Court (District 10, Ho Chi Minh City).
