The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial People's Committee Office (Provincial Citizen Reception Committee) to develop a plan to receive citizens at the Provincial Citizen Reception Office during the period of Party congresses at all levels and the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. At the same time, advise on organizing regular, periodic and ad hoc citizen reception sessions; monitor, classify cases and propose appropriate handling options. Assign the Provincial People's Committee Office to act as the focal point to coordinate with departments, branches, localities, especially the Public Security agency to grasp the situation of complaints and denunciations of citizens to promptly recommend competent authorities to handle them thoroughly, not allowing "hot spots" to arise.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Inspectorate to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee Office to advise the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to establish a Working Group for Citizen Reception; requesting sectors and localities to review cases that are likely to generate complaints and denunciations from many people and are complicated to promptly handle, not to bypass the level and prolong. At the same time, guide, inspect and urge units to make the content of citizen reception and complaint and denunciation settlement a key task in the work plan for 2025 and 2026.
The Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of communes and wards, especially the police force to proactively grasp the situation, develop plans to ensure security and order, and promptly handle situations arising at the grassroots level. Provincial press agencies continue to disseminate legal regulations on citizen reception, complaints and denunciations, and promptly reflect the results of handling cases of public concern.
In the first 6 months of 2025, the work of receiving citizens in the two provinces of Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan (old) was carried out seriously. With the participation of the entire political system, cases under their jurisdiction were promptly resolved in accordance with legal regulations, preventing the emergence of "hot spots"; minimizing the situation of complaints beyond the level of authority. In Thai Nguyen province (before the merger), the total number of citizen receptions by administrative agencies in the province was 2,464 people, down 2.2% over the same period in 2024; there were 20 large groups, an increase of 8 groups over the same period in 2024. In Bac Kan province (before the merger), the total number of citizen receptions by administrative agencies in the province was 285 people, down 6.9% over the same period in 2024; no large groups occurred. |
