The Department of Cultural Heritage (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) requires localities to review plans and measures to prevent natural disasters, fires, and theft; and strengthen the protection and preservation of documents and artifacts.

Implementing the Prime Minister 's direction and the guidance of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to strengthen the work of preventing natural disasters, fires, and theft at relics, proactively responding to natural disasters and potential risks to the work of preserving and protecting cultural heritage, relics, museums and artifacts.

Localities where storm No. 3 has passed through, urgently inspect and assess and soon take measures to overcome the consequences for relics and museums. Take measures to reinforce and handle areas at risk of landslides, damaged technical equipment, and areas that can cause fire and explosion... to ensure the safety of relics, museums and artifacts.

Review plans and measures to prevent natural disasters, fires, and theft; regularly inspect, maintain, and maintain related technical equipment to ensure absolute safety for documents and artifacts being kept and displayed at museums and relics.

In addition, localities need to organize assessments and review of the entire current status of museums, relics, outdoor exhibition areas, related auxiliary works and the entire green tree system... to develop a plan to prevent and handle the risk of damage and loss of safety in case of risks (heavy rain, floods, storms, lightning and risk of damage due to intentional sabotage).

Strengthen the organization of propaganda activities, disseminate knowledge on natural disaster prevention, fire, explosion, theft for museum staff, relic management boards/centers, people directly looking after relics and visitors; encourage support between museums, relic management boards/centers for museums and relics affected by natural disasters to restore operations soon.

Assign leaders to be on duty at museums and relics to ensure monitoring, supervision and timely response to risks. Regularly grasp and update information on weather and storms on mass media to proactively develop plans and measures to prevent natural disasters and respond to risks that may cause damage to museums and relics.

Proactively develop plans to restore and maintain the operation of museums and relics after natural disasters, preserve the landscape and environment to be green, clean, and beautiful, and ensure good service to visitors.
