Colonel Tran Xuan Anh used to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Ministry of Public Security . In October 2021, he was transferred and appointed to the position of Director of Tra Vinh Provincial Police.

At the same time, the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer and appointment of Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hai (51 years old, hometown Tan Hong district, Dong Thap province), Deputy Director of Dong Thap Provincial Police, to take up the position of Director of Tra Vinh Provincial Police was announced.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung acknowledged the contributions of Colonel Tran Xuan Anh in the past time, especially in working with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the leadership of the Provincial Police to effectively direct the implementation of Party building work.
