According to plan, the new generation Suzuki Swift will officially launch in the Vietnamese market on June 26. However, this B-class hatchback model has now appeared at some dealers with an estimated price of 569 million VND. Notably, the new generation Swift imported to Vietnam this time is no longer imported from Thailand as before but has switched to being imported directly from Japan.
Compared to the previous version, the 2025 Suzuki Swift hatchback model has not changed much in overall design, still retaining the characteristic rounded style. However, the front end has been tweaked with lower-mounted headlights that seamlessly blend into the enlarged honeycomb grille. At the rear, the taillights have been redesigned with a new LED interface. The cabin of the 2025 Suzuki Swift has been fully revealed. The floating central touchscreen measures 9.7 inches, combined with a two-tone steering wheel and heated fabric seats - a rare feature in the segment.
The air-conditioning cluster is designed more neatly, while the steering wheel integrates buttons to control the advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), including adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assist. The ADAS camera mounted on the windshield confirms the presence of active safety features on the new model. However, this model still retains some traditional equipment such as the mechanical handbrake, manual anti-glare rearview mirror... According to the actual image, the car does not have rear air-conditioning vents and lacks a central armrest. These points may make some users unsatisfied when compared to competitors in the same price range. Another highlight is that the 2025 Suzuki Swift uses a hybrid powertrain with a 1.2L 3-cylinder gasoline engine combined with an electric motor.
This system provides a total capacity of about 82 horsepower and maximum torque of 108 Nm. The car uses a CVT automatic transmission, aiming for optimal fuel economy. In the B-class hatchback segment in Vietnam, Suzuki Swift's direct competitor is currently the Mazda2 hatchback - a car imported from Thailand with a selling price from 537 to 544 million VND.
