On the morning of June 19, MISA Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA) and other units organized the workshop "Corporate governance in the AI era: Improving performance with AI and smart data".
Mr. Le Hong Quang, General Director of MISA Joint Stock Company, said that the rate of enterprises applying AI in management has increased sharply, from 33% in 2022 to 72% in 2024 (according to IBM, Forbes, McKinsey).
In particular, businesses that apply data to make decisions can increase their ability to attract customers 23 times higher than traditional businesses.
Keeping up with this trend, MISA has developed an AI assistant called MISA AVA, helping businesses quickly query data, provide visual reports and in-depth analysis, creating a solid foundation for strategic decisions. At the same time, with AI technology and data analysis, MISA AVA also forecasts important indicators, supports flexible management, and optimizes operational efficiency.

The application of AI also helps increase customer care productivity by 1.71 times by using 350 people instead of 600 people to take care of customers, while optimizing financial processes, automating accounting and supporting businesses to access capital faster.
"AI is now an inevitable trend and needs to be widely popularized. Enterprises need to continuously review and have plans to apply AI to each process to optimize operational and management efficiency," Mr. Quang emphasized.
Dr. Can Van Luc - Chief Economist of BIDV, Member of the Prime Minister's Policy Advisory Council - commented that AI is currently one of two strategic trends that businesses need to prioritize, alongside green transformation.
Dr. Can Van Luc said that many people often think that finance and banking are the fields that apply AI the most, but in fact, this is not the case. Citing a survey by TechUK (2024), Mr. Luc said that marketing is the leading field with 54%, followed by technology (39%), education (20%) and then financial accounting (16%).
“AI is now a strategy, not just a software tool,” Dr. Can Van Luc affirmed.
