On the morning of June 28, traffic through Dai Lao and Loc Chau communes (Bao Loc city) was only one-way, hundreds of vehicles traveling from Da Lat to Ho Chi Minh City were waiting in line for about 4km, from the B'Lao Sre intersection (Dai Lao commune) to the center of Loc Chau commune.
On the Ho Chi Minh City - Da Lat route, traffic was also seriously congested, stretching for more than 3km, from the B'Lao Sre intersection to the area of the Virgin Mary statue on Bao Loc pass.

The reason is that the cross-culvert at the B'Lao Sre intersection (Dai Lao commune) had to be suddenly repaired, causing vehicles to only travel in one direction under the regulation and guidance of the traffic police.
This traffic jam has been going on since 2am this morning and shows no signs of easing. On average, it takes each vehicle 1 to 1.5 hours to pass through Bao Loc Pass.

The Traffic Police Team at Bao Loc Pass, Madaguoi Station, Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Province, has mobilized many officers to regulate, direct traffic, and guide vehicles to move orderly through the cross-culvert under repair. Due to the rain and the crowded traffic on the weekend, the work of regulating and directing traffic encountered many difficulties.

The emergency repair of the cross-culvert at the B'Lao Sre intersection on National Highway 20 started at the end of June 2025. In addition to the above location, in recent times, Bao Loc Pass has often experienced serious and prolonged traffic congestion due to the repair of Bao Loc 2 Bridge. The peak was on June 8, when traffic on National Highway 20 and Bao Loc Pass was congested for more than 10km, lasting for many hours.
